Men's ASICS Sonicblast 2

The SONICBLAST™ 2 delivers a responsive, lightweight platform engineered for tempo work and everyday training. Its refined geometry—stable heel, flexible forefoot—makes plated performance more accessible than traditional race shoes.

The dual-layer midsole combines FF BLAST™ MAX and FF TURBO™ SQUARED cushioning with a trampoline pod, balancing impact protection with energetic rebound. The forked ASTROPLATE™ geometry channels momentum forward for a snappier, more propulsive feel.

We say a much improved version compared to the first, we feel the pod in the forefoot certainly has a great toe off. Still firmer in the heel but one that we would use for sessions versus our racing shoes.
